My nightmares are coming true with a remastered HD version of Resident Evil in 2015. The 2002 remake of Resident Evil originally released on the GameCube, and later re-released on the Wii, is by far the best version Resident Evil that anyone could experience. A new generation will finally understand the true glory of the commercially and critically acclaimed masterpiece Resident Evil in its most gorgeous and accessible form to date.

The remastered classic will be coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Unfortunately, there are no plans to bring the remastered remake to the Wii U. The updated version will feature full 1080p on PS4 and Xbox One, and 720p on PS3 and Xbox 360. Another welcomed update is character control. Characters can now move in the direction of the analog stick, but RE purists will be able to enjoy the original “tank” controls as well.
